Wellness is a time to focus your energy outward and illness is a time to focus your energy inward. When you are ill make time for yourself and nourish the energy you have. Let go everything and make yourself a priority. Now is a good time to ask for what you need and let it in. Seek the support and help you need for your healing. Illness is our body’s call for time off, time out or just plain time. Illness is a way for us to come face-to-face with what is no longer working for us and to make changes. Don’t ignore your need for more time, more space, more relaxation. Are you too busy attending to everyone else’s needs and putting your own last? Let go of all the things or people in your life that do not nourish or support you. The way to wellness is to recognize your own needs and put them first. Nourish your self in ways that support vibrant health and vitality. The way you manage your energy can be the difference between illness and wellness.
